There are many Industries, Companies, Organizations and Governments around the World which are aware that the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4ir), is going on.

Some are undertaking initiatives to prepare for associated economic growth advantages and impacts on People, and their Local and National Economies.


Welcome to the first draft of the 4irNewZealand website.

4irNewZealand is for initiative takers.

So we could tell you all about the Fourth Industrial Revolution. But we will not. That is not our current mission.

Initiative takers are recommended to view relevant YouTube videos from the World Economic Forum etc.


Our mission is to help make Everyday Kiwis aware that the Fourth Industrial Revolution is going on.

Basic awareness asap is positive for all Kiwis and NZ.

Obviously, there will be those Kiwis who "don't care" or "don't give a proverbial about the Fourth Industrial Revolution".

Our basic awareness mission only requires us to make all Kiwis aware. It is then up to each informed individual to decide on how to proceed beyond awareness.


To help communicate such awareness, 4irNewZealand are going to encourage the growth of local social networks for both tech people and non-tech people.

4irNewZealand will encourage such local social networks to organize and operate themselves independently.

They may proceed, under their local 4ir network title, to evolve however and whichever way they choose.


The model for a Local 4ir Social Network that we recommend is based on optional participation and minimum involvement.

for example, the 4irHamilton social network, which basically is a meetup group, is modeled as follows,

Primarily, 4irHamilton will always be a social group about meeting people, having fun, and talking about anything. Discussion about 4ir topics is only optional for group members.

Secondly, anything to do with the 4ir awareness mission requires only optional participation from group members.


4irNewZealand will travel to Kiwi towns and cities and make People aware of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

4irNewZealand will find tech people and non-tech people in towns and cities and encourage them to grow Local 4ir Social Networks.
